Thankyou youngest and junior Welsh son-in-law for this amazing picture of most of the Mourne Mountains-looking north from one of the tors of Slieve Binnion. Corbetts these mountains may be-as opposed to Monros* (over 3000 feet) but if you climb them up from sea level they are challenging enough. And if you don't take them seriously in nasty weather you could be in a lot of trouble. The s-i-l walked from here to come down to Newcastle via the Donard Commedagh ridge-Donard you can see with its rounded top right rear of the image. Monros are named after Sir H Monro but there is no evidence that the smaller Corbetts (2500ft plus) are anny thing to do with Ronnie Corbett-Blog-ed)
